The biggest challenge of the project consisted of raising the grade after the owner had obtained a conditional use permit for the building 6 years earlier. The entire elevation was raised 1 foot and one of the two original storm drainage ponds were eliminated. The remaining pond was enlarged to accommodate the hydrogenous calculations for rainfall. This change spotted by VSI Construction saved the owner over $30,000. |
