January 9, 2009 ABM has used VSI on various sized projects over the last 10 plus years. We do place our projects out to bid using a standard three bid tier to measure cost/price. We have also used other contractors for various reasons in my 20 years of service at this location. The reasons why a project manager would consider a solid contractor could vary. At ABM the following subject matter is what makes the end result, from start to finish, and why we prefer VSI overall to handle our projects. > Fair market cost: Balance of cost to quality regarding on site staff/workers or sub contractors and materials provided. > Cost control: Always flexible to consider the internal goal and to close the job related to customers objective. ABM has often provided our own skilled labor and used outside sub contractors we have relationships with to perform key points of the project. Example - painting, installation of carpet, construction clean-up etc. > Always available to resolve issues and adjust to change orders. This is key on larger projects. > End result: Start and finished on scheduled timeline, stayed on task, on budget, the best over all contractor experience inclusively, never once ended a project with any customer regrets.
