April 14, 2009 Re: VSI Facility Solutions How do you move a 113 year old business? Very carefully. Austin Mutual Insurance Company was established by Austin, MN farmers to insure their crops in 1896. Shortly thereafter, the company relocated to St. Paul and had leased office space ever since. That is, until November 1, 2008 when Austin Mutual moved to its new corporate facility in Maple Grove, MN. When the leaders of Austin Mutual decided to build a new facility and move the company, we knew we had a short window of opportunity to make it happen. There was no room for mistakes, oversights or unreliability. With that in mind, we set out to assemble a first rate team of partners to complete our plans. From architects to contractors we had to rely on trustworthy people to make our dream come true. VSI was a crucial part of our plan. They provided move coordination, packing instructions, movers, tear-down, clean-up,new furniture selection and new furniture assembly crews that made our transition very smooth. When we needed a permit to block a street and a crane to punch a large piece of equipment out a third story window (with little notice)VSI handled it.
